New NGI Personnel at AOML to Support the Florida Regional Ecosystem Stressors Collaborative Assessment Project (FRESCA)

Dr. Prasanth Rajendran joins PhOD this week as a new NGI postdoc. Prasanth will support the Florida Regional Ecosystem Stressors Collaborative Assessment (FRESCA) project, which seeks to investigate the current and future impacts of key environmental stressors under climate change. This multidisciplinary effort is being led by Ian Enochs and Ana Palacio-Castro, both with OCED. Prasanth will also work closely with Fabian Gomez (PhOD/NGI) and Sang-Ki Lee, his NOAA sponsor. He recently completed his PhD in Marine Science at Cochin University of Science and Technology in India, where he studied the biophysical processes in the northern Indian Ocean using regional ocean models.
