2012 Mississippi-Alabama Bays and Bayous Symposium

Where: Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center- Biloxi, MS
The 2012 Mississippi-Alabama Bays and Bayous Symposium will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi, MS on Nov. 14-15. With a goal of 400 participants, the conference theme will be “Finding a Common Currency: Natural Resource Economics, Ecology and Culture.”
Historically, each symposium has drawn participants from scientists, students, businesses, educators, non-governmental organizations and concerned citizens who provide solutions to coastal problems in five informative sessions about current issues. We expect more than 100 oral and poster presentations on the topics of Living Marine Resources; Habitat Management and Restoration; Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Science; Water Quality and Quantity; and Climate and Hazard Resilience.
